Student Council

The Prabhat Academy Student Council, comprising students from both the primary and secondary sections, acts as the central advisory body for all student activities and plays a vital role in student life at Prabhat Academy. The Council works closely with academic staff and administration to represent the student body in organizing and managing scholastic, cultural, and sporting events.

Serving as the collective voice of students, the Council ensures that student opinions and concerns are heard and addressed at all levels. Members actively contribute to the formulation of student-related policies and are empowered to function independently with the necessary support and resources to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

The selection of Student Council members follows a democratic process involving peers, teachers, and school leadership, offering students valuable experience in democratic participation and leadership.

Functions of the Student Council

• ✔ To represent and advocate for student interests and work towards their fulfillment.
• ✔ To advise the school administration on matters related to students.
• ✔ To formally represent the student body during all academic, cultural, and sporting events organized by the school.
• ✔ To take on executive and supervisory roles alternately in managing the annual Inter House Championship.
• ✔ To maintain the Students’ Ideas and Suggestions Box and take prompt action on the feedback received.
