General Directives of Conduct and Discipline

Enrollment at Prabhat Academy – Lucknow Campus implies that pupils and parents agree to comply with the school's regulations. Pupils are expected to:

  • ✔ Attend school punctually every day.
  • ✔ Behave with decorum and respect, addressing all staff politely.
  • ✔ Treat fellow students with kindness, honesty, and self-control.
  • ✔ Participate actively and positively in all school activities, including those outside regular hours.
  • ✔ Take part in all organized excursions and picnics as expected by the school.
  • ✔ Contribute towards school events, shows, charities, excursions, outreach, and extracurricular activities as required.
  • ✔ Be responsible for their belongings; books, bags, and uniforms should bear the owner's name.
  • ✔ Maintain school property carefully; damages must be compensated by the offender.
  • ✔ Avoid using unfair means during tests. Such conduct is unacceptable and may result in zero marks and strict penalties.
  • ✔ No retests will be conducted under any circumstances.
  • ✔ Private tuition by school staff is prohibited unless approved by the Principal.

Pupils Are Expected to Refrain From:

  • ✔ Bringing polybags to school, as it is a No Polybag Zone.
  • ✔ Bringing mobile phones, cameras, or electronic devices without prior written permission from the Principal. Confiscated devices will be returned only after a formal apology and letter of explanation from parents. Repeated offenses may lead to suspension.
  • ✔ Buying items or food from unauthorized vendors near school premises.
  • ✔ Using hair colors, streaks, or fringes not approved by the school.
  • ✔ Wearing mehndi without prior permission.
  • ✔ Extravagant birthday celebrations during school hours. Only sweets or toffees may be distributed; chocolates and cakes are not permitted.
  • ✔ Wearing colored spectacle frames.
  • ✔ Giving personal gifts to school staff.
  • ✔ Wearing the school uniform outside school premises or after school hours.
  • ✔ Correspondence regarding pupils must be neatly written, addressed to the Principal, and sent in an envelope. Parents are not allowed to meet their children during school hours without permission. Meetings with teachers require prior appointments using the designated communication pages.
  • ✔ Sending students to school for tests or exams if they are ill or recovering. Medical certificates must be submitted for absences.
  • ✔ The Principal reserves the right to suspend or require withdrawal of any pupil whose conduct is detrimental to the school environment or whose academic progress is unsatisfactory.
  • ✔ Progress reports will be sent to parents and must be returned promptly. The school’s decision on promotion is final.
