Pattern of Examination
From the academic year 2024–2025, the examination pattern will follow a revamped assessment structure focused on consistent performance, practical learning, and comprehensive evaluation.
Assessment Components

Periodic Tests: Two assessments conducted in July and November.

Notebook Submission: Regular evaluation based on homework, notes, and assignments.

Subject Enrichment Activities: Practical and activity-based learning such as lab work, projects, and oral skills.

Mid-Term and Final-Term Examinations: Two formal exams covering the syllabus comprehensively.
Marks Distribution
Each subject is evaluated out of 100 marks, split as follows:

80 marks: Theory examination covering 100% syllabus.

20 marks: Internal assessment (periodic tests, notebook, and enrichment activities).
Important Guidelines

No formal examinations are conducted up to Class IV; assessment is based on continuous observation and activities.

Students from Classes V to IX must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each subject to pass.

For Class XI, passing each subject in the Final Term Examination is mandatory for promotion to Class XII.

No subject changes are allowed in Class XI after 1st October.

Subjects must remain the same for Classes XI and XII; no subject changes are permitted in Class XII.

Students of Classes IX to XII must obtain at least 33% marks in each subject to pass.

For Classes XI and XII, students must pass both theory and practical exams separately where applicable.
